Candice Manganaro, DVM

Dr. Candice Manganaro began working at Park Heights Animal Care Center in 2011. She was born in Ontario, Canada, but grew up in Ocala, Florida beginning at the age of 7. Dr. Manganaro now lives in Fruitland Park. She earned an undergraduate degree in biology at the University of Central Florida and later, a DVM degree from the University of Florida. Previously, Dr. Manganaro practiced at Banfield, Safe Haven Veterinary Hospital. She has special veterinary interests in internal pet medicine.

At home, Dr. Manganaro has 3 daughters, and 2 pets X (the Eliminator) and Peanut, both beagles. In her free time, Dr. Manganaro enjoys baking and spending time with her husband and children. She enjoys lots of 'nerdy' things like Star Trek, Marvel, etc. As your pet's veterinarian, Dr. Manganaro likes to be able to take her time in the exam room, in order to really understand her patient and any concerns from the owner.
